The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a voluntary program offering supportive services to students struggling with academic, behavioral, and/or emotional difficulties.  The goal of the Student Assistance Program is to help students overcome barriers to learning so that they achieve, advance, and remain in school. Students can be referred to SAP by staff members, parents /guardians, peers, or self-referrals. The SAP team is composed of administrators, teachers, the school counselor, social worker, and the school nurse. This program is confidential and team driven. The SAP team members develop interventions that link students with in-school and community resources to promote success in school.
